My art practice regularly begins with something circular, a circle itself, or the concepts of chance and coincidence. Systematic coincidence is present in the work in both material and the meaning while locking down ephemeral moments. The materials used in the work can be controlled to a degree, leaving possibilities for coincidental shifts due to their natural properties. Frequently contrasting materials that loosen up their nature, such as ink and water are used. Other materials include time-based subjects vintage film, sound, and plants.
